CASTING AND STAFF INFO
2023 is going to be HUGE for The Haunted Factory!
We are excited about opening our brand new haunted attraction in Kingsport, TN! This means we are going to be Casting and Staffing a ton of FRESH MEAT! We want Energetic and Passionate people who aren’t afraid to have a lot of Fun! Joining our Team is going to be just that – FUN!
REQUIREMENTS:
- You must be able to work late on the weekends (sometimes 1AM), and occasional weekdays.
- You must have reliable transportation to and from The Haunted Factory.
- You must be punctual and willing to learn.
- You must love Halloween, and All Things Haunted!

CAST MEMBERS
The Haunted Factory is a great avenue for learning or honing your acting chops, while also having fun as part of a dedicated and close team! Even if you’ve never worked for a Haunted House before, working at The Haunted Factory is a stress-free place that provides many chances to thrill and scare a willing audience in a way you’ve never experienced! It isn’t necessary that you have prior acting experience. We do want you to have fun and do your best while keeping an open mind about each coaching opportunity. A willingness to Learn is an absolute must!
Love all things Halloween? Perfect! We do too!
All make-up, masks, and costumes will be provided for you.
We do not allow actors to wear their own costumes.
CASTING FAQS
IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT TO WORK AT THE HAUNTED FACTORY?
Yes. All staff and volunteers must be at least 16 years old. Anyone under the age of 18 will require signed parental or guardian consent/permission to participate.
WHAT IF I CAN’T WORK EVERY NIGHT?
It is not a requirement that you must work every night, however we prefer committed members on our team, and will usually cast high-profile roles with actors who will work more nights. If you will let us know ahead of time which nights you aren’t available, we will have a much smoother season. Consistency provides the best possible experience for guests, you, and the other actors.
ANY OTHER IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS?
A willingness to participate and learn, Reliable transportation!, and a love for Spooky Stuff! You are also required to complete the Casting and Staffing Application HERE!
DOES THE HAUNTED FACTORY PAY THE ACTORS?
ALL Positions on our haunt team are PAID!
